The Simon Agency supports attorneys, HR departments, employers, businesses and private clients with litigation fact development, workplace and internal investigations, fraud inquiries, investigative due diligence and witness investigations. Each assignment begins with a defined question and a practical scope.
Three ways to engage us
We start with the question the client needs answered and the findings that would help them act. Engage TSA for one focused inquiry or ongoing support to counsel, an employer or a private client.

Fact development for threatening attention, repeated unwanted contact, targeted harassment and impersonation affecting individuals and organizations.
Before and after the decision
Due diligence can clarify an opportunity before a commitment. Fact development can clarify an allegation after a concern emerges.
Clients engage TSA ahead of key leadership appointments, transactions, important business relationships, and significant vendor decisions. They also retain us when an internal concern, disputed event, or legal matter needs disciplined investigation.
Corporate & Internal Investigations
For general counsel, compliance, corporate security, boards, and executive leadership, an inquiry may require independent interviews, records review, corroboration, and careful documentation.
We report documented findings, identify what can be corroborated, and make unanswered questions clear.
Investigative Due Diligence
Corporate, investment, and family-office decisions often turn on the people and relationships behind the proposal. TSA examines relevant records, relationships, and other information to identify material questions and context for the client to consider.
Each engagement is scoped to the decision. Returning clients may request diligence across successive transactions or relationships.
Litigation & Law-Firm Support
Outside and in-house counsel may retain TSA for fact development in a dispute, internal matter, or other legal assignment. The investigative question, reporting approach, and communication are defined with counsel.
TSA develops documented facts and reporting that counsel can use in the matter at hand.
Fraud & Financial Misconduct
Support for suspected fraud, misrepresentation, misuse of assets and disputed transactions. We review relevant records, develop factual timelines and conduct interviews within the agreed investigative scope.
Witness identification, location inquiries and interviews can clarify disputed accounts in litigation, employment matters and other appropriately scoped inquiries.
We document source information, distinguish corroborated facts from allegations and identify gaps that may require follow-up.
Who retains TSA
Corporations may engage us directly through general counsel, compliance, corporate security, executive leadership, or a board. Outside counsel may direct an investigative assignment for a client. Private equity and other investment organizations, family offices, and qualified professional firms may seek diligence before a decision or fact development around a concern.
Our approach
We clarify the question, identify useful sources, corroborate material findings where possible, and explain what the available information does and does not establish. Depending on the matter, the work may include interviews, records review, research, and field inquiries. We coordinate with counsel when counsel directs the assignment.

Related but separately scoped
What happened, who or what is involved, and what can the available facts support?
What does available information mean for exposure and protective decisions?
Some matters call for both. An inquiry may establish the context of a concerning communication while protective intelligence informs a separate safety assessment and plan. Explore Risk Advisory
