Protective personnel and coordinated support

Executive Protection

The Simon Agency provides Executive Protection for corporate leaders, families, entertainment clients, public officials, and security firms requiring regional support. We select personnel for the assignment and coordinate the detail through an accountable operations team—whether the need is one agent, a protective team, or recurring coverage.

Our operating standard

The people and the plan matter.

A short executive visit deserves the same care in staffing and preparation as a larger protective operation.

Our Washington, D.C. operations have sharpened the way we plan around changing schedules, executive movements, and multiple stakeholders. We apply that discipline to the assignment at hand. A known threat or a large detail is not a prerequisite to request professional coverage.

Personnel standards

Selected, prepared, and accountable.

Clients should know how the people on their assignment are selected and supported. The standard is applied to the role and location, then confirmed during scoping.

01 / VETTING

Experience first

TSA hires experienced Executive Protection agents and professionals with relevant law enforcement or military backgrounds. Operations reviews background status, required credentials, and role suitability; driving records are reviewed when the assignment requires them.

02 / TRAINING

Training and readiness

TSA requires at least 40 hours of in-service training for protective personnel. Assignment briefings address the itinerary, movement, communication, discretion, and client expectations. Personnel are matched to the role and prepared for its specific requirements.

03 / EMPLOYMENT

Direct TSA personnel

Where TSA staffs directly, protective personnel work as TSA W-2 employees. Their work is managed through TSA's insurance and workers' compensation arrangements, with employment and supervision under TSA.

04 / OVERSIGHT

Operational accountability

An operations lead coordinates scope, staffing, communications, and changes during the detail. The client has a clear point of contact and a defined delivery plan.

Executive travel and movement

Coverage that follows the itinerary.

An agent can support arrivals, meetings, roadshows, public appearances, and changing itineraries. The scope may be a single visit or travel across several destinations.

Protection and transportation, together when needed.

An Executive Protection agent and a Security Driver are distinct roles that can work together when the assignment calls for both. Executive Transportation is also available on its own; a client does not need an Executive Protection requirement to arrange it.

Coverage models

From one agent to a coordinated operation.

These are ways to scope an assignment, not fixed packages or prescribed team sizes.

01

Individual Agent

One appropriately scoped Executive Protection professional for a principal, trip, meeting, event, or defined period.

02

Agent + Security Driver

Coordinated protective presence and secure movement where the requirement calls for both functions.

03

Protective Team

Multiple personnel aligned around the principal, itinerary, venues, transportation, and operating plan.

04

Recurring Support

Repeat or ongoing coverage for leadership travel, family-office activity, and corporate security programs.

05

Multi-Market Support

Coordinated assignments across destinations, with the operating model and authority confirmed for each location.

Working with established programs

Support for corporate teams and partner firms.

Corporate Security

Extend an existing program with regional agents, visiting-executive coverage, security drivers, travel support, or surge capacity for leadership and board activity. We coordinate the assignment with the client’s security team and operating requirements.

Request corporate coverage

Security & Risk Partners

Established protection firms, security companies, risk consultancies, and international providers can request regional operational support for their client requirements. We respect the originating firm’s client relationship while defining the scope and delivery model together.

Request regional support

From request to coverage

A defined assignment, supported throughout.

We confirm the principal, itinerary, setting, roles, communication needs, and client preferences. Appropriate personnel are selected and briefed; transportation or intelligence support is integrated when requested. An operations contact coordinates changes and follow-up as the engagement requires.

Support across markets

TSA uses its own personnel for directly staffed assignments where available and authorized. For other markets, we coordinate suitable regional resources and confirm the operating model for each assignment.

One TSA point of contact helps the client manage a visit, a series of trips, or a broader program without having to manage our internal systems.
